hey, i'm matt

i'm an engineer obsessed with making AI/ML more practical and reliable. my current projects include:

• building fast classifiers for high-dimensional data that work with limited samples (think LLM routing and text classification)
• scaffolding AI agents as DFAs to make them more interpretable and robust
• developing a stable diffusion model capable of attribution on every generation

i spent a few years cofounding Learnable (briefly GradeGuru), an AI edtech startup. it didn't pan out, but the experience showed me how much i love building tools that amplify human potential.
